How To Voice Your Support

In late May, Senators Specter and Leahy introduced a new and improved bill - S.3274, "Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution (FAIR) Act of 2006." This new bill provides an excellent vehicle to move trust fund legislation forward. The Senate must act quickly to make legislation a reality this year. Please voice your support for asbestos trust fund legislation now by contacting your Senators, via phone, letter or the Internet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to concerns about terrorism, regular mail takes weeks to reach senators. For the best results, please e-mail (best choice) or fax your letter. It is crucial that you include your full mailing address either at the top or bottom of the letter to identify yourself as a constituent. Please note that in many cases, you will be directed to a form on the Senator's Web site for e-mailing purposes. You can also call one of your Senator's regional offices in your state to express your support (see link to the list below)
